Stalenhag does a similar thing yes but in a very different area time wise, style wise and his is set in a future suburbia rather than fictious, historic battles like Jakub, same idea but different settings. Come on, most artists use at least some reference, so he’s taking odd bits and details from here and there? So do I when I sample. What creative things are YOU doing except pointing these things out?
I love some of these. Minus points for the fact that Simon Stalenhag did something very similar and the fact that this guy uses photos for many of the paintings. It´s basically a lot of clever photoshop. Here´s are some of the elements for his artworks: https://instagram.com/captain_murica_yeah/
