Inspired by the Morgan Fisher records the Foruminatures website is part of an online project where people from the ninjatune.net forum are invited to contribute a 1 minute or less track of their own which will eventually make up an album length piece.

Strictly Kev's piece is a compressed section of his 'Raiding the 20th Century' mix. The comp was never completed.

This was originally meant to be included on 'Kaleidoscope' but wasn't finished in time. PC has an unreleased halftime version of this and also one with a Carpenters acappella mixed over it that works surprisingly well

A collaboration between PC and the Cinematic Orchestra’s Jason Swinscoe that was included on the Ninja Tune 10 year compilation ‘Xen Cuts’. They never pursued any more recordings under the name because The Neptunes has just risen to prominence in the charts.

A completely different version to the 'Kaleidoscope' one with Ken Nordine's vocal set to an unused track for the aforementioned album originally called 'Stelf'

This is actually 'Spiral Dub' but there is a 3rd version of 'Spiral' called 'Concentric Circle' that was submitted to Mo Wax but not used and remains unreleased.

A 7" free with the sadly short-lived Jazid magazine no.3, Coldcut JDJ outtake session by PC & Strictly. The EP contains another (old) DJ Food track plus Funki Porcini and Up, Bustle & Out.

This is a rework of the track 'Mindfood' that was featured on the Ntone.Earthrise.1 compilation that was credited to Coldcut. Also pressed as the B side of a test 12" with Oddly Godly's 'EVA' as a potential single but not used.

The track had been created for the ‘Rumpus Room’ compilation but would return to Ninja copyright after a few months of release and the it turned up on the Coldcut half of the ‘ColdKrushCuts’ mix CD instead.

The DJ Food track ‘Inosan’ from ‘A Recipe For Disaster’ is also included under the artist name Hedfunk (don’t ask). Both ‘Earthrise’ comps are essentially Instinct records ruthlessly exploiting their licensing agreement with Ninja and Ntone and making patchwork compilations out of all sorts of material that was around at the time, even retitling some things in the process.

This originally appeared on the Mambo Inn compilation 'Big Noise' released in 1994 which was very hard to find for a while
