Shot in DJ Vadim’s studio in Kingston one cold, rainy Friday night by myself and Nancy Brown. Mark wanted reflections in the curved mirror he had found somewhere which proved difficult because the light was bad in the cramped room and shooting the reflection in the mirror meant it was difficult to get a sharp image.

Blade didn’t want his face to be seen, a regular occurrence if you check his releases around that time, as he was still signing on and wouldn’t risk being visible in case he was pulled up on it. It turned out nice though and I bent the red line across the front and back in line with the curve of the mirror. One of my favourite JF sleeves (although the back cover is a bit of a mess) and one of the best records they released.
