I did like it actually, no great masterpiece of game-changing cinema but did a very good job of updating the original look. The strongest element was the design, as a franchise reboot I can’t think of a better one apart from the recent Batman films maybe.
Did you like the movie? I actually did (probably more from a visual and conceptual viewpoint)… I’m one of a few of my friends that grew up around the time of the first one, and that along with the usual slew of other game changing films of the late 70s-early 80s (that I’m sure you’re aware of) kinda forged our outlook on the future..
Oh, when’s that ‘future’ gonna get here again? It’s closer, I think.
