I saw this on the streets of Brussels at the weekend and looked it up when I got home.

Stolen from a tweet by Dan Hayhurst of Sculpture (whose solo album I really must pick up). If you check their site you can watch Ruben Sutherland‘s zoetropes like this and more for hours and get hypnotized.
Here’s a Kickstarter by a friend of mine, he makes some of the best, immersive gifs I’ve seen and we talked a bit some time back about bringing some of his work into my 360 dome shows. He’s now putting together a hi-res animated film of his work and trying to kickstart it to pay production costs.
My latest Freaky Formats piece for The Vinyl Factory just went up – this time it’s about holograms on both records and their sleeves, I even sneaked a CD in.
And still the tributes come… this is really quite excellent, if hypnotic and slightly sinister. No idea who did it, if you know, please post their name in the comments. Here’s all 21 Bowies
UPDATE: Seems it’s by Butcher Billy and it’s a work in progress, he’s already added more
No idea who did it but more .gifs like this please. UPDATE: Thanks to the diarist for the tip off, seems this comes from the Darkpulse blog and here’s another in a similar vein.

More gifs by Robin Davey who I’d unknowingly featured a few months back with his take on The Avengers. Blade Runner above in case you didn’t get it.

By complete coincidence about a minute after I posted this I saw that VW has a competition to win tickets to the MOMA shows (so that’s where they all went) if you make a gif ! Weird synchronicity.
