Funki Porcini aka James Braddell (disclosure: very good friend of mine, I’ve designed several of his record sleeves over the years) is putting out some sublime music right now through his own channels. His Bandcamp page is seeing regular updates of new tracks and there are some real gems emerging, the latest being his ‘Six Minutes In Manchester’ single, complete with 9 Lazy 9 remix. Also check out another recent track ‘The Devil Drives’ below

I’ll ask but it might be that iTunes wanted an exclusive in order to put the track up. There are all sorts of conditions and exceptions with iTunes, it’s a pain. If you have less than 10 tracks things can’t be called an album, if a track is over 10 minutes it can only be bought with an album bundle, not on its own. A big pain.
Hi Mr. Food. Really enjoy your posts. Any chance you can ask Mr. Porcini to put the Six Minutes 9 Lazy 9 rmx up on Bandcamp for those with an aversion to I.Tunes and all things DRM? Thanks.
